What’s the most frustrating thing about going to get your hair sorted? For a lot of women it’s consistency, the one thing which is mentioned again and again is not getting the stylist you booked or getting someone completely new doing your colour.
Well at The Cutting Club, in Lewes, that will never be an issue. Simon has been working since he opened the hair salon in Lewes in 1986. Claire Joined him from school in the early nineties and is still working hard, with Cathy joining ten years ago after making the career change to hairdressing.
So the hairdresser you spoke to on the phone, had your first consultation with will still be on hand for your next visit and every visit after that, and in colouring that is extremely important! As well as keeping in-depth notes, we are listening, if you ask to say, go slightly darker the person who has been colouring your hair will know exactly what your saying. In hight lightening how thick or thin the weave is, is massively important and the best placed person to understand this is the person who’s been doing them all along!
Being a small team of just three hair stylists means that not only does each stylist get to know their own clients, but they also get to know each others clients too! With just 4 chairs in the hair salon, there is always a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
We don’t all dress in black and we won’t try and sell you something you don’t want, or need. What we can do is give you a professional service and unbiased advice on all aspects of hair care.
We have continuity and very close understanding of each other because we have worked together as a team for many years, this doesn’t happen by accident, we work with empathy and we understand successful hairdressing is partnership between us and you,
SIMON CLAIRE & CATHY
